Donuts are a favorite for breakfast. Just add vegan milk of your choice and LusOasis's pancake and waffle mix, you can do it!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients - 8 servings
3 Tbs canned coconut milk
Vegetable oil of your choice for frying
Heat oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot (there should be at least 2 inches of oil in the pot)
Mix LusOasis's pancake and waffle mix and coconut milk until dough forms (continue to knead in extra mix if necessary until dough is not sticky)
Divide doughs into 8 equal pieces and knead into ball shapes
Once oil is hot (~350F if using thermometer), grab donut holes and carefully drop them into oil one by one
Fry the donut holes, flipping them in the oil, for about 2 minutes
After donut holes start floating to the surface, continue to cook for about 2-3 minutes
Remove from heat and place on a cooling rack with paper towels underneath
Pair with your favorite dipping sauce and fruits; Enjoy!
Tips: You can scale up to more servings by proportionally increase the mix and milk of your choice.
